Spring 2017 Indoor Triathlon Challenge
33 participants, 25 women and 8 men (KSC students, faculty and staff) competed in the Indoor Triathlon Challenge. The challenge consisted of a 10 minute swim, 20 minutes of cycling and 15 minutes running/walking on a treadmill. The winners were determined based on the highest accumulated distance in all three events. The women’s overall winner was Rachel Klaski and Mark Rabasco captured the men’s overall title. Owl 5K Fun Run/Walk
Recreational Sports sponsored its second annual Owl 5K Fun Run/Walk (12th 5K fun run event overall) on Friday, October 14. 85 participants completed the 5K event. Colton McCracken, a student, was the first overall finisher at 18:13 and Diana Pimer, a KSC alumna and current assistant coach with the KSC swimming/diving team, was the first female finisher at 21:58. Overall, 65 students, 16 KSC staff, 3 KSC faculty and one guest participated in the Owl 5K Fun Run/Walk.
