Recreation Center Hours - Academic Year (All Areas Except Pool)
Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m.-11 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
Pool Hours - Academic Year (subject to change)
Monday-Friday: noon-1 p.m. (new hours) - Lap Swimming
Monday-Thursday: 7:30-10 p.m. - Lap & Rec Swimming
Saturday & Sunday: noon-5 p.m. - Rec & Family Swimming
(The pool will be closed if two lifeguards are not available.)
Please NoteOwl ID Cards or Membership Cards must be presented to the front desk staff each visit and pool passes or membership cards to the lifeguards each visit to the pool.
During the academic year, the Recreation Center and Pool are open to KSC full-time and part-time students and Recreation Center membership holders (faculty, staff, and Continuing Education students, or their spouses/partners who have purchased one of these memberships) and to restricted membership holders for Walking Track/Group Fitness or the Pool (formerly Spaulding Gym) memberships.
Guest passes are available to students and to Recreation Center or Pool members, but are limited to one guest per visit at a charge of $5.00 per guest.
Recreation Center and Pool members are limited to five guests per semester to use facilities in the Recreation Center.
Spouse/Partners of KSC Recreation Center or Pool members or students must register for one of these membership options to use the pool; they will receive a membership card. Child passes are available for children, age 17 and under, of KSC Students and Recreation Center/Pool members to use the pool and/or rec courts only. While using the appropriate facilities, children must remain under parental supervision at all times. Present an Owl Card or membership card to front desk when requesting child or guest passes. Children of Recreation Center and Pool Membership holders or students may not bring guests. Children may be brought to use the facilities on the weekend only (Friday night for the pool is acceptable). Children must be toilet trained and completely out of diapers, and should be old enough and tall enough to touch bottom of the shallow end to use the pool.
Flotation devices may not be used in the pool, except by swimmers with disabilities. Other facility use restrictions and policies may apply.
