Staff and faculty in benefited positions enjoy a variety of medical plans, dental coverage, a generous defined-contribution retirement plan, and paid time, as well as life insurance, long-term disability, and access to other voluntary programs. Karyn Kaminski is available to answer all your benefit questions! Detailed information on plans is also available through the USNH Human Resources Benefits links.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an important benefit that will be available to all USNH employees (other than student workers) beginning in January 2015. The EAP provides confidential counseling to employees or their family members in need. EAP also provides initial support for legal advice, financial counseling, and life coaching.

Faculty Benefits
A comprehensive benefits package is available for our faculty, most of whom (tenure-track and clinical faculty) will be covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Keene State College Educational Association. A summary of benefits is detailed in the KSCEA Faculty Benefit Overview. Contract lecturers are non-tenure-track faculty who provide service to the institution, often stepping in to deliver academic programs when tenure-track vacancies occur. Contract lecturers have access to their own generous benefits as described in the USNH Faculty/Staff Benefit Overview.

Non-Exempt (Hourly) Staff participate in the USNH benefit program including three medical options, two levels of dental coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, and a generous defined-contribution retirement plan.
Exempt (Salaried) Staff Benefits
Exempt (Salaried) staff participate in the USNH benefit program including three medical options, two levels of dental coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, and a generous defined-contribution retirement plan.
Adjunct Faculty and Adjunct Staff Benefits
