Implementation Planning Group - Charge and Membership
Charge:
The strategic plan is meant to be a living document that will over time undergo revision. A hallmark of what will make this plan different from past plans is the successful implementation of the plan to include accountability for the same. The Implementation Planning Group (IPG) will have responsibility for preparing the Implementation Plan, which will make the strategic plan actionable. The Implementation Plan will identify the activities required to achieve the goals and objectives specified in the Strategic Plan; each activity will include a timeline, assignment of responsibility and accountability for completion, projected costs, and assessment methods and metrics. Development of the Implementation Plan will be accomplished with reference to a framework developed in partnership with our consultants, Keeling & Associates. Members of the IPG will communicate regularly with the President’s Cabinet and their designees. The IPG is expected to conduct its work in an open and transparent fashion utilizing the Strategic Plan Website and other modes of communication as appropriate. Regular updates to the campus community on the deliberations of the IPG are expected.
