Global Partners

Keene State College maintains institutional agreements with global university partners in the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe. These partnerships include the exchange of students and, in some cases, faculty as well as collaborative research opportunities. Our current global university partners are:

America (North And South)

Chile

Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso:

PUCV is a top university in Chile and South America with more than 14,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Over 700 international students per year attend PUCV. The university is located beside the Pacific Ocean in the port city of Valparaiso, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Ecuador

Universidad San Francisco de Quito:

Universidad San Franscisco de Quito is the premier private university in Ecuador with just over 2,500 students, 10% of whom are international. It Is located in a valley in the outskirts of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, at the base of Mount Pichincha in the Andes. KSC is proud to have been one of the university’s first partners.

Canada

Multiple Universities:

KSC is a member of the National Student Exchange and New England/Quebec Exchange, giving KSC students and faculty access to multiple universities in Canada.


Asia

Japan

Kansai Gadai University:

Kansai Gadai University has approximately 10,000 undergraduate students, 700 in the Asian Studies Program, which hosts students from approximately 40 countries. Kansai Gaidai is located in the city Kirakata in Osaka prefecture.

India

Bapagrama Educational Center:

The Bapagrama Educational Center is located in Bangalore. It was first opened to be a school for untouchable caste students at the secondary level, and each summer KSC students can take classes and participate in voluntary activities with the students and in the community.


Australia

University of Wollongong:

University of Wollongong is a highly ranked university that serves more than 18,000 students, including approximately 4,000 international students.


Europe

England

University of Derby:

The University of Derby is KSC’s oldest partner going back several decades. The University has approximately 20,000 students from over 100 countries and offers a wide range of courses.

York St. John University:

York St. John began as a teaching college and has just over 5,000 students. The city of York is one of England’s most historic cities.

France

Universite Catholique de Lille:

The Universite Catholique de Lille is located in Lille, the fourth largest city in France. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses and is one of the largest private universities in France.

Ireland

National University of Galway:

NUI Galway has 13,000 full time and 4,000 part time students. The campus is located in downtown Galway on the west coast of Ireland and is one of the most historic universities in the country. This agreement is with the Theater Department.

University of Limerick:

The University of Limerick is one of the newest universities in Ireland and is located on the banks of the River Shannon. It has more than 11,000 undergrad and post graduate students, hosting study away students from 207 partner institutions from every continent.

Italy

Lorenzo de Medici Institute:

The Lorenzo de Medici Institute maintains campuses in Florence, Rome, Tuscania and Venice and has been hosting KSC students for a decade.

Poland

Jagiellonian University:

Jagiellonian University is located in Krakow, the capital of Poland for 500 years and an important center for Eastern European Jews and resistance against the Nazis. KSC students study at the Centre for European Studies and the program was specifically developed for Holocaust and Genocide Studies students, though it is not limited to those students.

Scotland

University of Dundee:

The University of Dundee is located in the city of Dundee on the east coast of the Scottish Central Lowlands and is highly regarded for its student support and strong and diverse academic offerings.
