Dean of Students Office - Who We Are
Dean of Students
48 Butler Court, Rm. 203
Marney joined the Keene State College community in the Spring of 2022 after working in Massachusetts for nearly 8 years, and in both Michigan and New York prior. Marney has nearly 20 years of experience in Student Affairs with her primary focuses in Residence Life and Housing, Title IX, Community Standards, and ADA/504 at the collegiate level.
As the Dean of Students, Marney’s role on the Student Engagement leadership team serves as a community focused advocate for students, while working in partnership with colleagues across the campus. Through case management and supportive outreach, Marney provides oversight for the Community Standards process and Student Handbook, supports faculty and staff in addressing student needs and challenges, navigates and directs student crisis management and behavioral threat assessment. Working compassionately to assist students as they navigate the college experience is a passion, and she is honored to join Keene State College and live locally in the Keene community.
Marney’s master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education is from Indiana University of PA, with her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY which she thankfully credits for her love of Student Life.
