Marney joined the Keene State College community after working in Massachusetts, Michigan and New York. Marney has nearly 20 years of experience in Student Affairs with her primary focuses in Residence Life and Housing, Title IX, Community Standards, and ADA/504 at the collegiate level.

As the Dean of Students, Marney’s role on the Student Engagement leadership team serves as a community focused advocate for students, while working in partnership with colleagues across the campus. Through case management and supportive outreach, Marney provides oversight for the Community Standards process and Student Handbook, supports faculty and staff in addressing student needs and challenges, navigates and directs student crisis management and behavioral threat assessment. Working compassionately to assist students as they navigate the college experience is a passion, and she is honored to join Keene State College and live locally in the Keene community.

Marney’s degree is in Student Affairs in Higher Education is from Indiana University of PA, with her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY which she thankfully credits for her love of Student Life.

David Werneburg

Case Manager for CARES and Community Standards with the Dean of Students Office

David Werneburg joined Keene State College in September of 2024 as the Case Manager for the Dean of Student’s Office, transitioning from the field of private security. He brings along 5 years of experience in social work, restorative justice, and case management with the Justice Resource Institute and Communities for Restorative Justice, serving youth and young adults throughout the MetroWest area of Massachusetts. As the Case Manager for The Dean of Students Office, David will be supporting students on a one-to-one basis through CARES Case Management and Community Standards interventions. David is passionate about providing students with the supports and services they need to succeed in higher education, and is excited to be a part of the Keene State College Community.

Kira Condap — Administrative Support

Kira Condap has been part of the Keene State College community since August of 2024 as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students and Community Standards Offices. She spent several years working in guest relations at Pilgrim Pines Camp and Conference Center in Swanzey, NH, as well as three years as a dedicated Resident Assistant. Kira graduated from the University of New Haven with her Master of Business Administration in addition to her Bachelor of Business Management. She is ready to lend a helping hand to both students and staff in this role, and is excited to be involved in the KSC collective.
