Professor Mendelsohn, author of The Lost, will explore the meaning of the Holocaust as both a historical and literary event as time passes and the event belongs to a new generation of writers, and readers, who no longer have direct contact with the event itself.
Daniel Mendelsohn is an internationally known bestselling author and award-winning critic and essayist. His New York Times Best Seller, The Lost: A Search for Six of Six Million, is the story of his search for the truth behind his family’s tragic past during the Holocaust.
