The Ultimate Frisbee Club is for students that wish to play ultimate frisbee in a competitive environment. Open to all students, the club focuses on playing ultimate on a team, geared towards intercollegiate tournaments. Tournaments are weekend long (running on both Saturday and Sunday), with up to 8 games altogether. This is much more than tossing on the quad, and is treated like a varsity sport by all those who play on the team.
Practices run a few times a week and focus on fundamentals, such as throwing and catching, and advanced strategy, such as zone defense and vert/horizontal stack offense. Drills and games are done during practice and are aimed at elevating students to collegiate level play.
Dedicated students who wish to play in a collegiate level competition are encouraged to play, as well as any student interested in ultimate frisbee.
