Men’s Rugby

The men’s rugby club is looking for more students to join for the spring season and anyone interested, can contact the club president, Jason Perry more information. Student can also visit the club’s new OwlNet page,, for more current information about the men’s rugby club status this spring.

Formed in the spring of 1972, Keene State men’s rugby has been training players of all abilities to play the game of rugby for over 40 years. Our staff advisor is a former KSC player and was the head coach from 2003-2019. The team competed in the 2010 NSCRO nationals in Virginia Beach and placed second in the country.

No prior experience is necessary and, in fact, many of our players have never played the game before arriving at Keene State.

During a non-Covid-19 pandemic year, the team participates as a member of NSCRO-South Champions Division.

In the spring semester, the club typically participates in several tournaments against other clubs for a six week season but due to Covid-19, travel and competitions were not be possible this spring.
