Zeta Chi Rho Holocaust and Genocide Studies Honor Society (ZXP)
Zeta Chi Rho and its Alpha chapter, both founded at Keene State College in 2009, exist to recognize superior academic work in the field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and to promote in-depth study of the Holocaust and genocide through research and the healthy exchange of ideas and scholarship.
ZXP was a name derived from the Hebrew term “Zakhor,” meaning “to remember.” The purpose of ZXP is to:
- maintain and operate a Holocaust & Genocide Studies Honors Society at Keene State College.
- coordinate with other Holocaust and/or Holocaust and Genocide Studies Honors Society Chapters, programs, and organizations.
- coordinate the organization of ZXP seminars, conferences, research, discussion groups, study groups, and publications.
- sponsor a ZXP publication that promotes academic excellence at the undergraduate level in Holocaust & Genocide Studies.
