Welcome to the Math Center. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Math Center provides mathematics assessment testing for several majors. Additionally, students who miss an exam or quiz during a math class may be asked by the instructor to take the make-up at the Math Center.

To reserve a seat for testing, please view the testing schedule then email Eileen Phillips at ephillip@keene.edu.

Math Assessment Exam for Management Majors and Minors

This exam is designed to determine if students majoring or minoring in Management have the mathematical skills needed to be successful in quantitative intensive Management courses.

You may only take this exam ONCE, so it is in your best interest to complete this sample and seek help on any areas that you are weak in before you take the exam.

For additional review, study packets are available as PDF files by clicking on any of the test areas below. Peer tutors are also available to help you at the Math Center.

Math Assessment for Chemistry

As a student in INCHEM 112, you will be required to take a mathematics assessment exam to evaluate your math skills.

You may only take this exam ONCE, so it is in your best interest to complete this sample and seek help on any areas that you are weak in before you take the exam.

For additional review, study packets are available at the Math Center. Peer tutors are also available to help you at the Math Center.

Nursing Mathematics Assessment Exam

Successful completion of this exam is required of all nursing majors in their first year at Keene State College and transfer students.

You may only take this exam TWICE, so it is in your best interest to complete this sample and seek help on any areas that you are weak in before you take the exam.

MATH 171 Proficiency Exam (This exam is no longer required, but we are leaving this information here for students who would like to do some review work before entering Math 171 - Structure of Number Systems. Please feel free to visit a tutor for any questions.)

Successful completion of this exam is NO LONGER required before registering for Math 171 - Structure of Number Systems. The sample exam and study packets are left here for you to review your math knowledge and skills before taking MATH 171.
