Coming to the Redfern: The 30th Season!

The Redfern has unveiled its 30th Anniversary season, featuring a series of exciting performance events that encapsulate the breadth and diversity of the Redfern’s programming over the past three decades. This roster of performances includes Antarctic puppetry, wisecracking mathematicians, dancing neuroscientists and much more.
Tickets went on sale Monday, August 1 at the Redfern Box Office, and can be purchased by phone (603-358-2168) or online.
The season will be formally introduced by the Redfern’s newly appointed director Shannon Mayers, who will host a free public preview of upcoming performances at the Redfern’s 30th Anniversary party on Friday, September 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. Following a catered reception in the Redfern Lobby, audiences are invited to experience a sneak preview of season highlights, including video and live performances.
The Redfern’s 30th Anniversary season comprises seven performances, including:
- Asphalt Orchestra (Wednesday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m.)
- Adele Myers and Company (Wednesday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m.)
- Gare St. Lazare Players Ireland presents The End (Wednesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m.)
- Gioia de Cari presents Truth Values: One Girl’s Romp Through MIT’s Male Math Maze (Thursday, February 2 at 7:30 p.m.)
- Phantom Limb Company presents 69° South: The Shackleton Project (Wednesday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m.)
- The Acting Company presents William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors (Thursday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m.)
- Everett Dance Theatre presents Brain Storm (Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.)
The Redfern’s 30th season is funded in part by corporate sponsors Northeast Delta Dental, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Peerless Insurance, and the New England Foundation for the Arts’s Expeditions and New England States Touring programs made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the six New England state art agencies.
