Aspire staff work to provide all KSC students with academic support services designed to enhance success, by improving performance and giving them the tools they need to not only survive college - but thrive.
Some of our services include: Semester at a glance calendar; KSC Study Nights; Peer Tutoring; Peer Mentoring; Study Skills Development, Time Management and Organizational Support; and Links - a summer bridge program for first-time students.
Aspire also offers students leadership development and employment opportunities for work study and student hourly eligible students.
Our Tutor Program
Aspire provides individual, small group, and drop-in tutoring options. To schedule an appointment with a tutor, students can login to Navigate and click "Get Assistance". Click here to schedule an appointment with a tutor.
The Math Center provides tutoring for math courses. The Center for Writing provides tutoring for English writing courses. Aspire provides peer tutoring for other introductory level courses based on availability of qualified tutors.Full details

Our TRIO History
TRIO programs started with President Johnson’s 1964 economic opportunity legislation. TRIO along with Head Start, AmeriCorps and VISTA, Legal Services, Community Action Centers, GED and Job Corps were a part of his “Great Society” vision.Full details
