Health Science Nabs Substance Abuse Grant

A team of faculty from the Health Sciences Department (Marj Droppa, Margaret Smith, John Finneran, Jeanelle Boyer, and Amanda Bernius) are partnering with KSC’s Center for Health and Wellness, Franklin Pierce University, Monadnock Voices for Prevention, and Cheshire County to address substance abuse among college students with the help of a grant sponsored by Cheshire County. The award provides $155,995 over two years to study and implement substance abuse prevention strategies among college-age adults.
