Friday, September 14

7-9pm: Reunion Launch Party- Mabel Brown Room

Saturday Morning

8:30am: Registration & Continental Breakfast in the Student Center
7-2pm: Mt. Monadnock Hike

Dave Westover ‘72 will once again lead the group on a hike up one of the region’s most famous attractions. Snacks, lunch, and water provided. All age levels welcome. Meet at the Alumni Center

8:30-11: Scenic Fall Bike Ride

For the second year in a row, Brian Wallace leads a pack of cyclists along the back trails surrounding campus.

9-11 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Each year Keene State hosts The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, with Alumna Norma Walker ‘51, and Athletic Director Kristene Kelly, we are including it as our community service event during reunion… Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. So are we. Join our “Team Kristene” or donate to sponsor a student during Alumni Weekend 2018. If you aren’t able to join us on September 15th for the walk, please consider sponsoring a student at $10 to help us reach our goal! We hope to engage 100 students and raise over $1000!

12-12:30: Parade of Classes

Join your class and march down Appian Way in one of our reunion’s longest traditions.

12:45: Alumni Awards Luncheon

Enjoy a delicious lunch while celebrating some of Keene State’s finest alumni.

2:30-4: See, Explore, and Make Art at the Thorne: Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery

Join Thorne staff and student educators for an informal session designed specifically for alumni! A private tour of current exhibitions – including photographs by Andy Warhol and paintings and drawings by artists with close ties to the region – will be followed by a hands-on activity that will result in artwork for every participant to take home.

2:00: Men’s Soccer Game / Tailgate Tent- Owl Athletic Complex

Liberty Mutual is sponsoring KSC Athletics and KSC Alumni at the Tailgate Tent, while we cheer on our Men’s Soccer team as they face one of our fiercest competitors from Eastern Connecticut. Come meet and reminisce with fellow alums.

2-4:00 Scavenger Hunt- Meet at Student Center

Did you know that the Fiske Quad was once a tennis court, or that Rhodes once had a swimming pool in the basement? Fiske Hall held Keene State’s first dining commons. Have you seen the new Living Learning Commons? Rediscover campus, learning about what our campus used to look like, and visit some of our newest additions on an interactive scavenger hunt (with prizes!). Fun for all ages.

2:30: Ice Cream Social

Relive life on the Quad while enjoying a scoop of ice cream.

2:30: SAC Activities

The Student Activities Council is hosting games on the Quad! Students currently participating in SAC will lead participants in interactive games and activities on the Quad.

2:30-3:30: KSC Leaders Today with Alumni Panelists- Putnam Science Center Room 101

Join a panel of distinguished Keene State College alumni for a discussion on leadership and career pathways. Hear from panelists on their leadership experiences while at KSC and how it has shaped who they are today. The event is a great opportunity for KSC students and new graduates to network and connect with distinguished alumni. Following the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A and an opportunity for students to mingle with the panelists.

3:30-4: Campus Tour- Meet in front of Zorn Dining Commons
4:00: KSC Volleyball vs. Husson in the Spaulding Gymnasium
4:30-7: “Owl Artists Fly Home” Reception - Centennial Hall, Barry Alumni House

Celebrate our Artist Alums at the Owl Artists Fly Home exhibit and reception! With artists from ’68 to ’18, we’re showcasing some of our artists who have left the nest. Throughout Saturday of Reunion Weekend, stop in to view the exhibit in Centennial Hall. Later in the afternoon, come and join a reception to celebrate their work and reflect on their influences from their time spent at Keene State.


Saturday Evening

4-5:30: Saturday Night Sizzlers

Enjoy a KSC classic, Sizzlers, in the Night Owl Cafe.

4:30-7: Class of ‘68 Dinner
7-10:00: “Dance to the Music”: Dance and Karaoke

9-11:00: Brunch with Interim President Melinda Treadwell ‘90

On-Campus Housing Residents will be able to park in the Madison, Holloway, and TDS lots

A block of rooms has been reserved with a set rate until August 1st Friday: $149.99 Saturday: $178.99 Including a breakfast. This does not include a 9% hotel tax
