Comments: Invasive plant, animal, and microbial species present significantecological and economic challenges to our region and themitigation of invasive species is one of the most urgent topicsfacing conservation practitioners. Through a combination oflectures, short videos, activities, and discussions, we willexplore the most problematic invasive species that are affectinglocal ecosystems and what can be done to lessen their impact.This is an online course using blended instruction that meetssynchronously once per week. To meet the 4 credit IN course requirement, there is another2-credit INENST 199 in Summer Session 1, which would add up to 4credits of INENST 199.
