Topics in the biological sciences such as genetics, health, ecology, and others will be explored at an in-depth level. Prerequisites: 24 credits in ISP, including ITW 101 and QL. Fall, Spring.

Comments: This course is an introduction to common insects, particularlythose in New England. The course will introduce students to themajor groups of insects through their biology and role in theecosystem. Students will be introduced to the world of insectsthrough lecture, journaling, readings, videos, and direct outdoorobservation. Summer is the perfect time to learn about thisfascinating group of animals! No background experience inentomology is required.
