Deviance: American Drug Scene

Explores the social, socioeconomic, socio-legal, andsocio-political influences on our understanding of drug use andpeople who use drugs. We will explore theories of drug use andculture, social constructions of drug use, current drug trends,social norms and their consequences (e.g. stigma), drug policy,and harm reduction approaches.
