This story, set in Montreal, details the resolution of an old conflict between two old friends - one who abandoned the Jewish faith of his heritage and the other, an orthodox rabbi who started a Yeshiva in Montreal. Both are survivors of the Holocaust, and they nurse the wounds of both the Holocaust and the fight they had the night one left Yeshiva for a life of worldly "freedom." Fiction.
