The Kids on Campus program is offered every summer and is a key part of the College’s engagement with the City of Keene. GoSTEM is a camp offered through Kids on Campus and is specifically designed for middle and high school girls interested in the sciences; often GoSTEM activities focus on sustainability.

For example, GoSTEM participants have made parts for and built small solar cars, which entailed making their own small solar panels from solar cells. In addition, they worked collaboratively as a team and built a solar powered phone charging station.

The charging station remains in the TDS building on campus not only as a symbol of what young girls can accomplish together through scientific innovation, but also as a tool for renewable energy utilized by members of the community.
