Feed your passion! External grants support our College mission by providing resources you as a faculty member need to pursue the interesting questions and problems that led you to a life in the academe—all while introducing your students to the power of scholarly work in pursuit of a better society.

The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) has long encouraged providing more faculty-mentored research opportunities to students because of the deep learning that occurs in that context. Research and creative endeavors are powerful components of a liberal arts education.

Recent results from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) indicate that, by the time they are seniors, Keene State students are significantly more likely to have worked with a faculty member on a research project than their peers at similar institutions.
