Commencement Planning Starts

You are cordially invited to participate in the following events:

  • Friday, May 10, Spring Honors Convocation (Academic Regalia is Required), 4 p.m., Spaulding Gym Recreation Center. The Convocation recognizes excellence in student scholarship and leadership, the recipients of undergraduate Academic Honors, the Leo F. Redfern Outstanding Citizen, and discipline and endowment awards in American studies, biology, chemistry, communication, economics, education, English, environmental studies, geology, health sciences, history, holocaust, management, mathematics, modern languages, performing arts, psychology, safety studies, sociology and women’s studies.
  • Saturday, May 11, Commencement (Academic Regalia Required), 1 p.m., Fiske Quad.Faculty and staff will assemble in Elliot Hall Atrium no later than 12:30 p.m. for check in and placement in line; the procession will start about 12:40. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours; there will be a reception immediately following the ceremony in the Zorn Dining Commons.

To order regalia, contact Beth Cote in the College Bookstore no later than Monday, March 18. If you do not own your own regalia, Beth is happy to work with you to order one piece or the complete ensemble. If you do not pre-order regalia, there will not be regalia available for you.

Faculty and staff who plan to participate in the procession are asked to reply to the Survey Monkey survey sent to your keene.edu e-mail no later than Monday, April 1, so that we can reserve a seat for you on the quad and your name will be added to the line-of-march list.
