Homecoming Coming Soon!

From Sara Telfer, Alumni and Parent Relations:

Homecoming Weekend (October 14-16) is rapidly approaching! This is a great opportunity for our entire campus community (alumni, students, faculty and staff) to connect and have a great time. There are a lot of activities to choose from, so we hope to see you there!

The weekend will kick-off on Friday with a “Life After Liberal Arts” Alumni Panel sponsored by the School of Arts & Humanities at 4 p.m. in the Alumni Center. The panel will be followed by some laughs in the Night Owl Café at 8 p.m. featuring student improv group 3 Ways ‘Til Sunday.

There will be lots of fun at the Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday, starting at 11: 30 a.m. with pre-game festivities including food, music and a chance to take a plunge off of a giant bag jump! Then watch as the KSC women’s soccer team takes on RIC at 1 and the women’s field hockey team challenge ECSU at 1:30 p.m.

Some more of Saturday’s highlights include Women’s and Men’s Rugby at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, the Class of 1951 Owl Statue Dedication at noon in the Alumni Center Courtyard, and a chance to sign a beam going into the new Technology, Design, and Safety (TDS) Center.

Then, wrap up your Saturday under the stars on Fiske Quad! Join us for an outdoor movie and a chance to enjoy some time at this campus landmark. Be sure to bundle up since it may get a little chilly! The Goonies is set to start at 7.

If you are still hoping to catch another game or two, we hope you’ll stick around on Sunday. You won’t want to miss the Women’s and Men’s Alumni Rugby games on Joyce field!

If winter is more your style, planning for Winterfest 2012 will be starting soon! If your group, department, or organization is interested in getting together on February 3 or 4, let us know by contacting Sara Telfer: 603-358-2425 or stelfer@keene.edu.
