Each semester, Keene State hosts the Career Speaker Series, where representatives from a variety of businesses and professions talk about their companies, their career paths, and the world of employment and business. From biotech and information systems to advanced manufacturing and finance as well as a range of career opportunities in the non-profit world, these talks are targeted at current students and recent alums (faculty and career advisers, too!) and are terrific opportunities to learn about businesses and internship and employment opportunities from a wide range of employers in and around New Hampshire.

This semester’s series begins on Sept. 12 and includes speakers on careers in professional sales, starting your own company, and representatives from C&S Wholesale Grocers (the largest wholesale grocery supply company in the U.S. and the industry leader in supply chain innovation), Dyn (a cloud-based internet performance company), Echo Group (develops, builds and sells America’s coolest electronic medical records software for the behavioral health market), Lanyon Solutions (software for event marketing, strategic meetings management, and corporate travel), and Hitchiner Manufacturing Company (supplier of complete-to-print, high-volume, complex thin-wall investment castings and fully-finished casting-based subassemblies and components to industry).
