In February 2016, 13 Keene State College students travelled to Boston to attend the 2016 American Choral Directors Association ACDA Eastern Division Conference. The conference events included choral interest sessions, performances, and networking with choral professionals from across the globe. Funding for the trip was sponsored by the KSC Student Organizations budget and a Student Conference Fund grant. Upon returning to KSC, the attendees led an informational session to other ACDA members on campus to summarize the information they felt was the most interesting and informative from the conference. In addition, student teachers implemented new choral pedagogical techniques in their rehearsals at area host schools.
