Karrie Kalich Honored for Outstanding Research

Associate Professor of Health Science Karrie Kalich has been chosen to receive KSC’s 2011 Faculty Distinction in Research and Scholarship Award at the Teaching Excellence reception in the Mabel Brown Room on Wednesday, May 11th.

She’s being honored for her outstanding scholarship and research in the area of child nutrition, which focuses on obesity-prevention from a community-based perspective.

Dr. Kalich will share information about her research from the Early Sprouts program at the event, and again at the 2012 Academic Excellence Conference.
