Backstage Tours for A Midsummer Night's Dream
KEENE, N.H., 10/8/2010 -Keene State College’s Redfern Arts Center will offer audiences an inside view of The Aquila Theatre Company’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream during two backstage tours on Monday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets for the backstage tours are $3 for the general public, or free for Redfern members.
These backstage tours offer participants the opportunity to get a firsthand perspective on the intricacies involved in presenting a live performance. Technical staff and students will demonstrate their work with lighting, set design, and other components of technical production. Each tour will last approximately one hour.
The Aquila Theatre Company’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will take place the following day, Tuesday, October 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Theatre. Ticket prices range from $31 for the general public to $12 for children and $5 for Keene State students.
