Fraternity and Sorority Life
Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority Life at Keene State College! Our fraternity and sorority community is deeply rooted in the values of each organization as well as shared community values of academic success, accountability, service, leadership development and fellowship. These are the five guiding pillars of our community.
Here at KSC we work closely with the recognized chapters on our campus to promote and enhance the overall fraternity and sorority experience for our students. We believe that when done right, going Greek plays an integral role in the co-curricular experience, and student retention. We uphold the values and standards of each organization as well as those of the College. We ensure that the experience is safe and meaningful, allowing students to develop throughout their tenure both in the fraternity and sorority system, and Keene State College. Ultimately we prepare them to be responsible global citizens.
We currently have 8 inter/nationally recognized organizations (5 fraternities and 3 sororities) on campus as well as two governing bodies (the Inter-Fraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council), and one honor society (the Order of Omega). 7% of KSC undergraduates are affiliated with a fraternity or sorority.
Becoming a member of a fraternity or sorority is an individual decision, and adds great benefit to the undergraduate college experience. Membership within our community provides students numerous opportunities to establish and develop skills, networks and relationships that are life-lasting.
