Does a sense of community make a difference?

At Keene State, we say yes!

You might have noticed by now that Keene State really cares about building a sense of community – not only for our students, but also for alumni, faculty, staff, and our neighbors here in Keene and New Hampshire.

It comes through in everything we do. In fact, nestled right on Main Street, our campus naturally has a lively feel and a real connection to our hometown. But, with a friendly smile around every corner, it’s the people you meet at Keene State that truly make it a community. That’s why we work hard to bring people together in fun and meaningful ways, like our annual Localvore Day. The tradition started in 2010, but it’s quickly become a key part of the Keene State experience.

Listen to Executive Chef Richard Ducharme talk about Localvore Day, and hear what Keene State students think of the annual event by watching the video above.

All you have to do is walk into the L.P. Young Student Center, and you’ll realize how many opportunities you have to build your own community at Keene State. You won’t only have a full range of supports, you’ll be able to find a squad to stick by your side through it all ;)

Just pay your enrollment fee online, and your spot at Keene State will be secured. Then the only hard part is deciding which one of the 85+ student organizations to check out first!
