Dr. Jim R. Kraly

Jim is an analytical chemist with research backgrounds in separation science using capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, and mass spectrometry techniques.

As Associate Dean, Jim has worked with industry partners, national collaborators, and faculty to help develop and launch new pathways in precision optics at KSC including the new one-year certificate pathway in precision optics and short-course workshops for diamond turning machining.

Jim is the Principal Investigator for several external funding sources that support undergraduate student research such as for Optics and Precision Manufacturing (AmeriCOM, Dept of Ed), STEM focused NH-LIFT (NSF, EPSCoR), and NH-INBRE (NIH) program supporting biomedical and human health research.
