Colleague Recognition

Liane Wiley, Business Office, has passed Olivia the Owl to Bonnie Chamberlain, Advancement, with these comments:

Since you arrived at KSC you have accepted more and more responsibilities. You willingly try to do whatever is needed to get the job done. I know that when I need some information or assistance from you that you will do your best to get it to me ASAP. You never lose your patience with me when I need things quickly or re-done again and again.

You embraced the LEAN training and I’ve had the pleasure to work on a couple of projects with you. You brought tremendous energy to the groups, good ideas, organization and determination to find a more efficient way to get things done.

In addition to your diligent work ethic you have lifted up my spirits when I’ve been overwhelmed with workload. You strive to have a “keep up spirit” attitude that impacts those around you. I appreciate your sense of humor and am thankful that you always have a chocolate for me too!

I appreciate all you do.

Peggy Richmond, Admissions, writes:

I would like to send a thank you to Marcia Barrett (Theatre and Dance), Lee Schuette (Sustainable Product Design and Innovation) and Callie Carmosino (student work/music major) for their outstanding contributions to the recruitment effort over the past week. During a casual walk in the TDS and the Redfern with two separate families, these employees stopped what they were doing to tour the building and answer any questions from our prospective students and families. Both of these visits were un-announced, but each time, the employees welcomed the visitors to their buildings and made them feel as if they were the highest priority of the day.

Both of those prospective students shared with me that Keene State has now moved to the top of their list! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and passion for the work that you do every day. Those families now know the unlimited possibilities that exist for their students at KSC. You made that happen.

I am so confident that this support for our prospective families happens every day – even when we are not looking. So, thank you to everyone who makes recruiting prospective students one of their priorities! Your efforts are appreciated.
