Dr. Amanda Guthorn, Director of Campus Safety, was recently certified in public safety and campus law enforcement legal issues at San Diego State University. The 3-day program covered a wide range of topics including Pre-Employment Practices; Workforce Management; Negligence and Liability Concerns; Free Speech Considerations; Information Disclosure and Sharing; Compliance and Policing on a College Campus, including 4th Amendment, Search and Seizure, Use of Force, Behavioral Threat Assessment, the Clery Act, Title IX, and Alcohol/Drug Enforcement.

Steven Spiegel was elected Northeast Region representative to the Council of the National Student Exchange Governing Board for a three-year appointment. Steve has been an active member in the National Student Exchange program since coming to Keene State College, and this leadership position will allow Keene State to continue to improve and strengthen Keene State College’s role in the National Student Exchange. The National Student Exchange represents close to 200 universities in the United States, Canada and United States territories. Through this exchange, KSC students can study at these partner universities for the same tuition and fees as they pay to Keene State College.
