HR Webinar Addresses Emotional Intelligence

On February 19, 2015, the Office of Human Resources presented a webinar opportunity on Emotional Intelligence, which was made available by APS Healthcare, our EAP provider.

The webinar addressed three major points:

• Understanding Emotional Intelligence and its importance in the workplace
• Learning effective strategies to respond to emotional behaviors of co-workers and improve customers’ or co-workers’ interactions.
• How to become more competent in managing emotionally charged situations at work or at home.
