Indoor Biathlon/Triathlon March 7

Recreational Sports is sponsoring an indoor Biathlon/Triathlon Challenge for KSC students and Recreation Center members; this is a free event. Participants can sign up at the front desk of the Recreation Center for either event beginning February 11. KSC employees who are non-Recreation Center members and KSC alumni may sign up but will be put on a waiting list until space is determined to be available. The fee will be $15 for these individuals.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 7 and participants will be emailed their starting time beginning on Wednesday, March 4. Winners are determined by the total distance covered in each part of the Biathlon and the Triathlon. The Biathlon will consist of a 30 minute bike ride and 20 minute walk/jog on a treadmill. The Triathlon will consist of a 10 minute swim, 20 minute bike ride, 15 minute walk/jog on treadmill.

Prizes ($25 Owl Cash) will be awarded to the male and female having the greatest accumulated distance in the Biathlon and in the Triathlon. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
