Recreation Center Membership Renewals Begin

Recreation Center memberships renewals for 2014-15 will begin on Monday, August 18. All memberships for 2013-14 expire as of August 31. The new year membership period runs from September 1 to August 31, so you will want to process your renewal or first-time membership as soon as possible. Membership applications can be picked up and completed at the front desk. KSC employees will use their Owl Card for their access to the facility while spouses/partners of employees who wish to sign up for a membership or renew their existing one, will receive a new membership card. All child passes need to be renewed for this year as well.

Benefits-eligible employees who have their Harvard Pilgrim health insurance through the College can utilize the Wellness Connection program to cover the cost of the full Recreation Center membership as long as the member works out a minimum of 8 times per month. For employees who do not have health benefits through the College, the cost of the Recreation Center membership is $480, September 1-August 31, 2015. This allows the member full use of all the facilities and programs offered by Recreational Sports. The other memberships available are the Walking Track/Group Fitness membership for $125 per semester (which allows access to the walking track and group fitness program), and the Pool membership (which allows use of the swimming pool during Rec Sports swim time and the racquetball court at no charge) (formerly known as the Spaulding Gym membership). Please remember that an Owl Card or membership card must be presented to the front desk staff every visit to the Recreation Center.
