Call for Scholarship Display Items
From OSPR:
The annual Faculty Excellence Dinner will be held Wednesday, May 14. We would like to again include a display of faculty scholarship as a way of celebrating excellence. Please consider contributing an item representing your scholarly work for the display. Last year’s attendees found this to be a great addition to the event, and loved learning about each other’s work.
What to submit:
- Books, book chapters, articles, manuscripts or edited volumes recently published or released.
- Posters or papers recently presented at professional conferences.
- Creative works, visual art, etc. recently exhibited or performed. (e.g., Last year we had theatrical costumes, musical recordings, photos of performances and more.)
- Any other recent scholarly artifacts of which you are particularly proud. (Last year we even had a microscope set up with planarians on display)
- We will do our best to accommodate items in various mediums. If you are unsure about a particular item, contact Kim Schmidl-Gagne.
How to submit: Bring items to Kim Schmidl-Gagne (Hale 103) by May 7. Call 358-2768 to confirm a drop off time, if that is more convenient. Please allow additional lead time if you have a hard-to-display item.
Please provide any special instructions regarding handling, storage, or return. Your items will be returned promptly the week following the event.
