Major Gifts

It’s not unusual for this time of year, but we are always thankful for alumni, friends, and foundations who send year-end gifts to the college. Following are a few remarkable ones we have received recently.
- $3,000 to Arts and Humanities from Julian and Julie Landau. Andy Harris worked with the Landaus on this gift.
- $4,000 from Ed Jennison to the Olive Jennison Endowed Fund. Sean Gillery works with Ed regularly for his giving.
- $8,000 from an anonymous donor to support Women’s and Gender Studies students and their travel to an important national conference in the spring semester. Sarah Hottinger worked on this proposal.
- $5,000 from Rist Frost Shumway as a pledge payment on their gift to the TDS Center Campaign. Sean Gillery and Jay Kahn were key people on this gift.
- $5,000 from John and Mary Lee Pulvermann in support of the Cohen Center and its programs. Jan Cohen was very helpful in bringing in this gift.
- $40,000 from the Putnam Foundation in support of the KSC-Marlborough School Partnership in Education. Steve Bigaj, Pamela White, Penny Miceli, and John Halter were all active in this proposal.
