Keene State College Selected as “College of Distinction”

Keene State College has been selected as a “College of Distinction” for the 2013-2014 year. This recognition is based on nominations from high school college counselors, college administrative members, and the Colleges of Distinction selection team.

Four areas of distinction are used to determine which schools will be recognized: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities, and successful outcomes. According to Colleges of Distinction, its goal is “to provide students, counselors, and parents with information about schools that excel in these key areas. We describe schools that take a holistic approach to admissions decisions, that consistently excel in providing undergraduate education, and that have a truly national reputation.”

Keene State College is currently featured on the Colleges of Distinction website, and will be featured in the Public Colleges of Distinction eGuidebook available this fall.
