Christopher Swist’s new marimba and frame drum composition “Over the Bar” will be performed on Sunday June 9, 2013 by the Framed Resonance duo (Daniella Ganeva & Paolo Cimmino). This world premier will be part of the Slick Stix International Drums & Percussion Festival 2013 at the Rhodes Theater in Bishop’s Stortford, the United Kingdom.

Women’s basketball coach Keith Boucher will coach a nine-member USA Athletes International (USAAI) women’s basketball team that departs on June 8 for a 10-day trip that will include games in Naples, Florence, Venice, Tuscany and Rome. USAAI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving amateur athletes and coaches the opportunity to participate in international Olympic-style sporting events throughout the world. Courtney Roberts, who completed her sophomore season with the Owls this past season, will also be making the trip, along with current assistant coach and former KSC player Nikki Cote, who will return to the court.
