Moment of Silence

From Barbara Hall:

Keene State College observed a Moment of Silence at 2:50 p.m., Monday, April 22, on Fiske Quad to honor the casualties from the Boston Marathon bombings the previous week. More than 500 people attended to hear President Kahn’s remarks and a playing of “Taps” by Evan Thompson, a senior and one of the athletic trainers who was in the medical tent in Boston on that day. Diane Cushing and members of the KSC Concert Choir then led the singing of the National Anthem and the KSC bells tolled at 3 p.m.
