Who Are You and What Do You Do?
- Who are you? Mark Schmidl-Gagne, MEd 1995
- What do you do? Educational Counselor within Student Affairs, working in collaboration with the Aspire Program
- What do you really do? I work with students in their pursuit of academic success, no make that excellence, and assisting them to getting the most they can out of their liberal arts education at KSC.
- What else do you do? I like to read, to cook for Kim and my two kids, am in search of the “best” meatloaf (some say yuck, others say comfort food) recipe, ride my bike when I can, and am active in the Wheelock School PTA.
- How long have you been here? I have been at Keene State since July of 1989.
- What’s your favorite Keene State memory? I always loved dropping my kids off and picking them up from the CDC. It always struck me as the quintessential “Keene State College is a family” moment. The staff there is tremendous, and it reinforced to my kids that they are a part of the College, and that Keene State will always be a part of them.
- If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? I was, maybe still am, a huge comic book fan. I’d go with super speed; then I could get all the things I want and need to do done.
