Keene Young Professionals Available to KSC Employees

The Keene Young Professionals Network was created in 2007 as an initiative of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce to promote economic vitality and community involvement among young professionals throughout the Monadnock Region. It’s available to any local young (under 40-ish) professionals — including Keene State employees, a number of whom are already very involved.

The easiest way to learn more is to visit keeneypn.org or the Keene Young Professionals fan page on Facebook, or subscribe to the newsletter at Keeneypn@gmail.com. There is no cost for joining, no requirements on attendance, but there is an open invitation to come check it out and see what it has to offer.

From Matthew Toepfer, membership chair: “Our mission is to provide a forum to attract, retain and connect young people in the Monadnock Region. We offer valuable networking, social and community involvement opportunities to develop both personally and professionally in a welcoming atmosphere. Each month we hold social networking events so that young people can either grow as entrepreneurs in the community or simply find and outlet to meet new people. We also coordinate educational events throughout the year on a whole host of topics, from emergency preparation to basic financial management and everything in between. Lastly, we make sure were are working well with the community whether it be with the Community Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, or a host of others, we have the ability to give young people an opportunity to give back to the community.”
