Recreation Center Memberships Available (plus, snowshoes!)

Memberships to join the Recreation Center are available to KSC employees (and CE students) for spring semester.

Employees and CE students who wish to join the Recreation Center will need to have a KSC Owl Card to show when signing up for their membership and then will use the Owl Card as their means of accessing the Recreation Center this year. Other eligible individuals (i.e., alumni, spouses/partners) who are not able to obtain an Owl Card will receive membership cards to use for their access to the facility.

Employees who have Harvard Pilgrim health insurance through the College may utilize the Wellness Connection benefit through to pay for their membership to the Recreation Center. The full membership fee for the remainder of the year (ends August 31) is $300 for Keene State employees and $240 for employees’ spouse/partner if the employee pays the full-year fee. KSC employees who do not wish to use the Wellness Connection benefit may transfer the benefit to their spouse/partner as long as that person is on the employee’s health insurance through the College. Employees utilizing Wellness Connection are required to submit a log sheet at the end of each month with a minimum of 8 workouts in the Recreation Center.

Recreational Sports has snowshoes available for students, faculty and staff to sign out and use at their leisure. Faculty and staff do not need to be members of the Recreation Center in order to check out snowshoes. Just come to the front desk of the Recreation Center during open hours to sign out a pair of snowshoes.
