Get the Word Out

Now is the perfect time to make sure the world knows about your events for the spring semester.

Start by submitting your event to the campus Events Calendar (Hint: If you don’t want to refer back to this Campus News post every time you’re holding a new event, the link to submit your event is on the right side of the calendar itself.)

Here’s why:

• People looking for your event, specifically, can find date/time/location info they may have forgotten or misplaced.
• People looking for something to do, generally, can find it.
• Faculty members looking for opportunities for their students to learn outside the classroom for credit or extra credit can add your event to their syllabi.
• The College places a monthly event ad in the Sentinel, which is generated entirely by events on this calendar. That’s free (to you) newspaper advertising!
