KSC Fair Trade Club Presents in Chicago

Keene State College students and members of the KSC Fair Trade Club, Kelsey Bumsted, Lisa Brant, and Grace Healey, along with adjunct faculty member and advisor Tamara Stenn and Campus Sustainability Officer Mary Jensen, attended the national Fair Trade Campaigns conference. This conference focused on Fair Trade for Colleges and Universities and was hosted by the non-profit Fair Trade USA. Kelsey presented on “Fun and Fact Filled Events”, along with a colleague from Manhattan College. Both Lisa and Grace were responsible for social networking about the conference while they were in attendance. Lisa also made connections she’ll be able to use next semester as a study abroad student. Total conference attendance numbered in the hundreds with students and faculty attending from scores of universities across the U.S. as well as Fair Traders from around the world.
