TDS Update

Colin Burdick, CAD Technologist and Clerk of the Works for the TDS Center, reports that masons will continue to build brick walls for the next few weeks as long as the weather cooperates. The air barrier membrane is almost completely installed and air infiltration tests have been mostly positive. Electricians are rapidly wiring the first floor while plumbers are running the refrigeration lines to the air source heat pumps. Spandrel glass has arrived and will be installed, making the operable windows the last piece of the curtain wall system to be installed.

Sheetrock covers about 60 percent of the second floor walls, and preparations are being made to begin sheetrocking some of the first floor areas.
