TDS Update

The exterior of the TDS building is starting to take shape, almost catching up with interior progress. Glass has been installed in the curtain wall on the northwest and southwest corners while work is performed on the north side frame. Masons have been installing the precast base and have nearly completed the southwest run while moving on to the north side. Other exterior work includes the air barrier mostly completed on the north side.

Interior progress includes the walls and doors of the woodshop annex being framed, as well as other interior framing work and most of the window and door openings are in place. Electricians have installed their boxes and are currently wiring the second floor while fireproofing has commenced on the exterior steel frames. Ductwork has been installed in the second floor lab areas, continuing on the SPDI lab on the first floor. The steel for the pivot doors between the corridor and the studio on the second floor have been installed. Plumbers have continued to run air, gas, water, and refrigeration lines throughout the building with insulators behind.
