New Hampshire Science Teachers Spring Conference

From Sally Jean, Science Education:

The NHSTA, co-sponsored by the School of Science and Social Sciences, and the Office of the Provost, will be holding their Spring 2012 conference on March 12 at Keene State College in the Putnam Science Center.

Over 40 workshops will be offered that will span all science content areas and grade levels: Biology, Chemistry, Earth/Space, and Physics. Two of our KSC faculty, Dr. Kristen Porter-Utley and Dr. Jerry Jasinski, will be presenting workshops on Passionflowers and Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL), respectively. Take the opportunity to network with peers and professionals who nurture your passion for science.

The event is open to the public, but registration is required. For further information and a complete schedule of workshops, please visit the NHSTA website.
