Up 'Til Dawn for St. Jude

From Sinead O’Mahony ‘11:

Keene State will be hosting its second annual “Up ‘til Dawn” event in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event, themed “Highlight Life, Save a Life” is open to all Keene State students, faculty and staff. Each participant will send out 50 letters to friends and family, requesting donations to St. Jude. Immediately after the task is completed, participants can join others from the college community to celebrate these efforts with free food, activities and a raffle. The results of the funding drive can be tracked online at Last year’s event raised $19,000. This year’s fundraising goal is $25,000, with the help of 300 people.

St. Jude is a premier center for research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases. It costs $1.7 million per day to keep St. Jude running.
