PAT Council Notes

From the PAT Council:

The PAT Council invites all PAT staff to attend any of our meetings and participate in our discussions regarding campuswide issues, committee work, and professional development opportunities — and ask questions of council members about other topics. This semester’s meetings will be October 12, November 9, and December 14 from 10:30 a.m.-noon in Room 308 in the Student Center.

The Council is interested in finding out what professional development opportunities PATs would like to see offered this year in the form of workshops, speakers or on Professional Development Day. Contact Genny Alexander, galexander@keene.edu, with your ideas or suggestions.

At the new employee luncheon sponsored by the PAT Council September 14, twelve new PATs met with Council members and Kim Harkness, Director of Human Resources, to find out more about what the Council does, campus committee membership, and how the Council is involved with shared governance.
